The Firewheel Tree, native to the Australian rainforests of Northern NSW and Queensland, is also adaptable to cooler climates, although it may flower more slowly. It is known for its vivid, fiery red flowers that bloom in the summer, typically between February and March, and are reminiscent of a wheel.

Growth size: Around 10m h (up to 30m in a rainforest)

Positioning: Full sun to shade.

Temperament: Light frost tolerant,

Perfect for: Feature tree, screening, birds, bees & butterfly attracting
